Now that the snow has melted away, Nordic Valley is bustling with summer 2023 projects! Throughout the month of June, we’ll be focusing on expanding our parking lot and replacing Bridger’s haul rope. Stay tuned for more project announcements as the summer progresses,
After the end of the 2022/2023 season, we wasted no time in planning parking improvements and expansion. Lot 4 will undergo an expansion, adding 200 more spots to accommodate the growing demand. These additional spaces will help alleviate the stress of finding parking on busy weekends, holidays, and when day and night skiers crossover. The new lot will have a winter-appropriate surface made of compacted road base material. We’ll also be making repairs to our existing main lots to ensure a smoother surface, considering the wear and tear from winter plowing this past season.
Next on our agenda is the replacement of Bridger’s haul rope and other routine maintenance to ensure its operation for the 2023/2024 season.
