Dear Nordic Community,
We’re thrilled to kick off another ski season with you and welcome you back to the slopes at Nordic soon! As you may know, we had our fair share of challenges last season, but our commitment to giving you the freedom to ski and providing an excellent experience at Nordic has remained steadfast.
With that being said, over the summer we’ve made significant progress on several projects, including the overhaul on Apollo, and we are eager to share more updates for this winter season. Here’s what we’ve been working on and what you can expect this season at Nordic:
- Apollo is back and ready for you to enjoy!
- Crockett Lift – The haul rope has been replaced to ensure smooth rides all winter long.
- Local food trucks will be on-site, bringing fresh flavors to your ski days.
- FREE parking will continue for all guests.
- Kids 12 & younger are eligible for a FREE Power Kids season pass
- More events! We’re bringing back the Duct Tape Derby, Denim Dual Slalom, SkiMo and more!
And we’re not stopping there – this season, Nordic Valley will also offer lift tickets starting at $9, half off rentals, and you can even get a $10 resort credit on select dates when you buy online and in advance.
You may also notice a few changes to the winter calendar, particularly with night skiing. This year, we’ve made the decision to pause night skiing as part of our long-term effort to rebuild Nordic Valley step by step.
Nordic is still overcoming challenges from last year’s barn fire, and temporarily pausing night skiing for the season allows us to focus on rebuilding critical infrastructure. This includes continued lift maintenance and upgrades, future planning for the beloved barn and, most importantly, ensuring you have an outstanding experience on the mountain. Rest assured, our night skiing decision is only temporary, as our team is committed to rebuilding Nordic better than ever.
